The California School-Age Consortium Announces the Implementation of the

National Partnerships for After School Science Project (NPASS2)

What is the NPASS2 project?

NPASS2 is a 3-year training and professional development project designed to increase the capacity of afterschool programs to offer extended, hands-on science projects for school-age children. NPASS2 is funded by the National Science Foundation.

NPASS2 follows the first NPASS project and the Explore-It and Design-It curriculum development projects which between them produced almost 30 extended science, design and engineering curriculum project guides for the out of school field and laid out a framework for training front line afterschool staff to lead such project with children well.  Visit www.npass2.edc.org to learn more.
